Mad Men

I love Mad Men! I'm counting down the hours until it comes back on the air (March 25th). Now with three excruciating days to go I'm devouring anything and everything Mad Men related. I came across this editorial with Kiernan Shipka in Grazia UK. I fell in love with the white dress she is wearing!

Here's another picture of it on the runway.

Not sure that I love the fact that a 12 year old looks like an 18 year old but I do love the dress. It's elegant and fun (see gold studs). Perfect for a night out on the town or dressed down for brunch.

Found this on the My Fashion Database Blog and knew it was special. I've always loved designers and the actual garmets but now have an overwhelming respect for the people behind the scenes!

Emerson Fry New York

Today, like every other day, I was scouring blogs and stumbled upon a great brand. Emerson Fry New York was featured in a post on http://joannagoddard.blogspot.com/2012/03/emerson-frys-new-spring-collection.html. I liked what I saw, so I decided to check the site out. JoAnna's picks were cute but I found a few more that I LOVE!

The necklaces are my favorite. You might think I'm crazy since there is only one shown here but there are 6 total with different pictures and different inscriptions. The lion is my favorite! Emerson Fry if you're listening I would love one!!

Cutest Thing Ever!!!

Photo Shop Express

Ok so I am not tech savy nor am I a "picture person". By "pictures person" I mean those that actually take them. So this Valentine's Day, my favorite holiday, I decided to take a couple of pictures. Crossing the new frontier into picture taking inspired me to use Photo Shop Express on my phone. I had tinkered with it once or twice before but the thought of editing pictures was exhausting. To my surprise, with my new found resolve/outlook on picture taking, it wasn't half bad.

These may not be the best enhancements but the fact that they look so different is fun! I'll have to play around with the program a little more but all in all a great tool for a non-"picture person"!
